“I purchased the full skincare kit and on first use, I felt a burning sensation almost immediately (it certainly didn't sooth my skin). Within a day I had a painful red rash. I have never reacted badly to skincare products in the past so I'm really disappointed with the Kalme products - especially given they are not cheap. “I've suffered with rosacea for about 10 years had various creams prescribed by my GP which didn't really help so I started to use the Clinique redness solutions (face-wash, moisturiser, foundation) which did help for a while but the past year or so it didn't seem to do anything so I started using various products to see if they would help. “I’m pleased that these products work so well for many people. I’ve had rosacea all my life and have struggled with severe symptoms at times. I’ve always used very mild moisturisers to deal with it but following 6 months of quite severe symptoms I decided to try Kalme. Unfortunately it just made things worse. I persevered for just over three weeks but my skin was erupting in spots, drier and more scaly than ever and became itchy and blistered in patches. I’ve reverted back to a different very mild moisturiser and my skin is much better. Please if anyone else has these symptoms after using Kalme, stop immediately. Don’t try for the full 3 weeks hoping it’ll start working.”
“My first experience with this range. When I first received the products my skin was very sore. Applying the day cream made my face sting. However, I persevered. Within a short time of using this full range I began to have very hot flushes throughout the day which I had not had before. I assumed the roseaca had worsened. Eventually I realised the creams were doing no good and went back to using a simple emollient cream. Certainly the roseaca did not improve using Kalme products. After discontinuing use the flushes diminished greatly (strange coincidence...?). So for me this was an expensive waste of money. The one product I quite like - and would recommend - is the concealer.”
