“I have developed red irritated rosacea skin within the last year. To add insult to injury I have also developed cystic acne & more run of the mill acne on my chin & upper lip area. It was only after developing some fine mild broken capillaries that I even considered I might have rosacea. After a bit of research I quickly realised I was treating my skin in all the wrong ways. I had visited my GP regarding the acne & was prescribed a liquid antibiotic zinc mixture to apply twice daily. This initially worked but I noticed as soon as I stopped using the liquid the acne would return. I did not want to become reliant on applying antibiotics & began to search for an alternative method to control my acne & assist my rosacea. I initially came across an article about Silver Serum & made my way to the Skin Shop website. I have very delicate skin, prone to eczema, so have always been very careful with products used on my skin particularly my face. I started with the Kalme starter kit plus the Silver Serum. I read all the FAQ's & was prepared not to see an initial difference & for my skin to possibly get worse. I was delighted to find that within 48 hours I could see a definite reduction in the redness. I use the Kalme undercoat over a thin layer of the Silver Serum every morning. This works as my day time moisturizer if I am not going outside. If I plan to go outside I add on a layer of the Daily Defense to protect my skin. The undercoat is a very light consistency, a cross between a cream & a gel and it feels light on my skin. I have found that it's a bit of a trial process to find the right products but has been absolutely worth it. Everyone's skin is different after all. I am now 6 weeks in & with a combination of Kalme Cleanser, Silver Serum, Kalme Undercoat, Daily Defense and Sebopure, only on a night, my skin finally seems more in balance, redness is reduced, skin texture is great. So so pleased I found your products. I can not say enough great things about both the Kalme & Clarol ranges!”

“This undercoat is great at moisturising and keeping any skin reactions at bay. I haven’t had any reaction with it and I find that wearing it under makeup helps make my rosacea less sensitive and I can even apply powder without it being too drying. I use it twice daily under my other Kalme products and it has been a life changing product as my skin is so much better. Redness is greatly reduced, barely get any rosacea spots anymore and my scaly dry skin has completely gone. Please never stop making this product!”
“I went from having acne as a teenager pretty much without break to having spotty rosacea as an adult (now 36 years old), without even realizing for a long time that what was causing the bumps and spots was not acne anymore, but rosacea. I ignored it for most of the time but it would get so bad in the winter that I could not ignore it anymore, especially after an accident last year which left me with visible scars on my face, which, in addition to the red rosacea spots/bumps, made me self-conscious to the point I would barely leave the house. So out of sheer desperation I ordered the Kalme Basic Kit first without any real expectations. After a couple of weeks my skin was DRAMATICALLY improved but I was still getting the odd bump here and there. I then added the Kalme Undercoat to my routine and man, it has changed my skin completely! I used a fairly thick layer all over my face first thing in the morning and evening, and then apply the corresponding day or night cream (of course I also use the cleanser, but in my case only at night since I don't find it necessary in the morning). “Like the day cream, this didn't really help with my skin condition however it was a really nice, light moisturiser that I applied as a barrier against make up. I would suggest trying it for yourself as it may work better for you as everyones skin is different but it is a really nice cream.”
“This felt good wasn't thick but more or a cooling aloe vera type gel feel on the face. At first I was over the moon with this on my face but it then reacted. My face is very sensitive, as has reacted to 3 of 4 of the kalme products I have tried but the customer service is excellent and they are so understanding. I would say the team I spoke to on the phone and via email were absolutely fantastic.”
