My irritated eyelids excepted this eye gel after trying many products. Clear gel absorbs easily and soothes area without stinging. Glad I bought this 5 star eye gel.

I got dry eyes out of nowhere this week and for two days I couldn't keep my left eye open. A friend recommended this product. I ordered it on Friday 19th December at 12 noon (royal mail, first class) and at 3.30pm of the same day it was dispatched. I thought it would take ages to arrive, as it's the Christmas period, but it arrived just a day later, on Saturday 20th December at 1pm, i.e. just 25 hours after my online order (I live in North London, btw). I was amazed! Also, I have applied the eye gel just once and I can already see an improvement, as now I can keep my left eye open. I think I need to apply it a few more times so that my eyes return to normal, but the initial results are very very promising, as I got instant relief! I hardly ever write product reviews, but I thought it was worth reviewing this product, as I was amazed at the speed of delivery and at how quick this eye gel works. Well done, skin shop, I will definitely order from you again!

Earlier this year I developed what the Doctors prescribed as contact dermatitis around the eyes. They prescribed me hydra-cortisone cream and also epiderm (?) cream. Neither of these helped. I tried this eye gel after reading the reviews. It has definitely improved the condition. I still have a tiny amount of irritation there but it seems to be improving week by week. Well worth a try if you suffer from skin irritations around the eye. I'll certainly be buying more. It isn't too expensive either.

At first my eyelids were puffy for the first few days, then calmed down, work in g well, redness almost gone after one weeks use.

I have recently developed eye dermatitis; not sure if I am allergic to something! Dry eye gel has been the only thing that has worked in any way. I keep getting flare ups, but the gel seems to be keeping it at bay. I will continue to use it and keep you posted!! Only concern is I am unsure if there are any long term side effects; can anyone advise me on this?

I wear quite a lot of eye makeup and after a particularly heavy week of scrubbing off primer potion I developed a nasty patch of dry skin in the corner of one eye. A mixture of stress, scrubbing and naturally watery eyes turned it into very stubborn Eczema. I tried E45, hydrocortisone which I was very worried about because it supposedly thins your skin and plain ole vaseline. Nothing worked, it all just seemed to irritate it more. I happened upon this stuff whilst googling in desperation and decided it was worth the money for the quite small tube, although I was sceptical that the reviews were hype like you see for a lot of so called 'skin solutions'. Low and behold the stuff fixed it! Within a week of applying it once in the morning and once in the evening it had cleared up so I was pretty gobsmacked. I now use it as a primer for my eyes before makeup application and a moisturiser for around my lip area. I'm going to buy my family one each for Xmas!

After living abroad in a warm climate for 18 years, I returned to the UK a few months ago. I developed horrible red, scaly patches all around my eyes, both upper and lower eyelids. This is the first time I have ever had any skin problems and I am 43 years old. My GP prescribed Epaderm ointment and soap substitute plus Hydrocortisone cream. Unfortunately, these creams made things much worse and I aged 10 years in a matter of days. I then tried Dr Organics Manuka Honey Cream which soothed the area but didn't help with the redness. Finally, I discovered Dry Eye Gel! This gel is very light to apply and doesn't leave any sticky residue. It has certainly calmed my skin and the redness has gone. I still have a few dry patches but they are hardly seen. I believe they will disappear in time as I continue using the gel. I use the gel morning and night and can see definite improvement after using the gel for a few weeks. (My skin was used to being in the sun when I lived abroad so I've had a couple of sessions on a sunbed (8 mins) which I think has also helped although I understand that this would not be everyone's choice). I definitely recommend this gel. It gives great results and is a very reasonable price with fast delivery too. I will certainly buy it again!
