“I've suffered from psoriasis on my scalp for too long! Tried the prescribed coal tar shampoos and others; then discovered Oregon Anti Plaque shampoo which worked wonders but felt there was room for further improvement. Having read about the Hydrosil Scalp Shield Shampoo decided to give it a try and very pleased so far - scalp much less dry and hair is more moisturised. Still using Oregon Anti Plaque conditioner in the worst affected area. Am optimistic that long term results will be the best yet!”
“I began having problems with a dry itchy irritated scalp after hitting the peri-menopause. I have issues with eczema so I know I already have a genetically compromised skin barrier & as I have aged I have become much more chemically sensitive. Switched to using Green Peoples Fragrance-Free Sensitive Shampoo. Scalp was a lot happier but there was still some residual dryness & itching. Decided to try the Hydrosil to see if it stripped the scalp less. I have now used it twice & it hasn't caused a skin reaction. My scalp doesn't feel as stipped or as dry after using which is what I wanted. I am hoping that continued use will help to rebalance my scalp oils & help bolster the skin barrier. It does have a smell, a bit medicinal, not unlike a Tea Tree smell. I do not find it unpleasant. The consistency was like a standard shampoo & I was surprised with how much it did actual lather. I was expecting almost nothing.”
“I had a lot of faith in the old formula Hydrosil Shampoo, mainly because of its Balloon Vine content. The new formulation seems to work well but needs to be more viscous (it's too easy to over-apply) It also has a 'damp earth' smell to it which is not unpleasant but will take some getting used to!”
