“I bought this product on 14 August 2019. I went on holiday in September 2021 for a couple of months and drained the boiler. On return in November I refilled it and it did not work then leaked all over the kitchen cupboard and floor. On phoning Adobe they ran some checks - tried to blame me for not maintaining it by replacing the filters and decalcifier which I had and they are not necessary in Edinburgh anyway as the water is very soft - just an expensive maintenance item a bit like replacing ink in a cheap printer, but less useful in the case of the filters. They insisted that it was outside the warranty period and I therefore had to buy a new one but admitted that they no longer use the manufacturer who made my boiler and gave me a free filter out of guilt presumably. I now have to have the £247 inc VAT new boiler installed at my expense so round up the cost of a new boiler after only 2 years to say £330. Kieran at Adobe will merely repeat himself constantly that the product was outside of the warranty period when it failed but this is not acceptable and I have rights under the Consumer Rights Act - the product was of inadequate quality and caused further damage when it leaked. It should have been replaced free of charge but Kieran at Adobe refused to refund my money. There are other reviews on Trustpilot about this product which say very similar things about it. It was clearly poorly made and the manufacturer should refund my money. I have to go to Sinks-taps.com initially now it seems. What a fiasco and a dishonest company Abode have proven themselves to be.”

“Spent a long time researching hot taps for my kitchen. After speaking to the technical guys at sinks-taps I was convinced this was the product for me. Quality feel, easy to fit (it was done by my husband one Saturday morning) and I absolutely love the fact you can get into the tank to clear limescale build-up. A real problem in this area.”
