Like me, you may have struggled to find a review of this sink, but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. The sink came beautifully packaged in a good quality box packed inside another good quality box, with foam packing blocks to maintain safe separation between the two to avoid transit damage. Good packaging is always a sign of good quality, and happily this was no exception. So, to the sink itself ... This is a composite granite sink, so it is durable and very heavy - probably around 15kg, or maybe twice that of the corresponding stainless sink. It has a very large bowl too, so ideal for a utility room but maybe less so for the kitchen. The moulding is accurate, and carries a little 'Lecci' logo at the end of the draining board, which adds a touch of quality. The landing face and external waste and overflow faces are accurately machined post-moulding, so there are no issues with fitting, leaks etc. In my own installation, I fitted the tap behind the sink, directly into the oak worktop. Whenever I fit taps through a sink though, I always end up making and fitting a bracket to tie the tap back to the underside of the worktop to stop it from whipping about. My thoughts are that this wouldn't be necessary with this sink. It is very rigid. As regards the securing clips, there are six which are pre-fitted - three along the front and three along the back. Because of the rigidity of the sink, end clips would be redundant. The clips are well designed and function well too. Thoughtfully, they extend fully as you tighten the screws and retract as you loosen them, saving a fight during installation. That'll make more sense when you're hands on, but it's all good. Regarding the supplied waste and overflow fittings, I did see mention of them being of poor quality. Well, maybe they're not the best I've ever fitted, but trust me they're a long way from being the worst either, and you're supplied with a very comprehensive selection of fittings. Again, they get a tick from me. The sink has been in service for a few weeks now, and continues to look like a high-quality product. I've no reason to believe that it won't remain so for many years to come. I hope this has helped - To close, I'd be very happy to fit more of these, and am very happy to recommend!
