It is well made kit but the nuts connected to the wall pipes are rounded, needed to use a cloth to spanner them avoid scarring. They are not conventional nuts where one feel they are spanner secured. The shower head rail only manoeuvre free when placed at right hand side, try several time to place left because of the space in the shower cubicle but no manoeuvre movements. The shower's host is so stiff, I was told after time, it will soften, I doubt it. I have to use my existing hose. Try to phone the expert adviser, but no return calls. waste of time. they are only interested to sell their products, that's it! Personally, I would not recommend this kit if you have a small cubicle shower space, especially the price one paid.

Hi Mr Ho. We are sorry you didn't think the Abode shower was exactly as you expected. We have sold this product for many years and never had any problems. We did speak to you about 4-5 times including a number of times on live chat. You reported that the plumber had installed the shower and it was leaking from one of the connections. This was due to the item not being installed correctly. Taking the shower valve on an off the wall will increase the possibility of a compression nut being rounded off. However, if it is done correctly a compression nut will be able to be removed without a problem. I actually have an Abode shower in my own home and the hose does soften over time with hot water, it then moulds into the exact shape required. You are also correct that the handset is supposed to be fixed to the right hand side of the slider rail. This is how it is shown on the image and in the technical specification. Trying to change the way any product is supposed to be fitted can cause possible problems. We dont have any record of you waiting for a call back. We do however have a record of you speaking to an advisor on live chat over 5 times and speaking to our technical team on the telephone 3 times. On each occasion we offered help and assistance which included us being able to confirm your fitter had made an error in the fitting of the valve which had resulted in it leaking!
