“Although I am very pleased with the quality and appearance of the tap, unfortunately the water pressure is very poor, particularly with the hot water. The previous tap was much faster (being the same type of fixture) so it is quite frustrating. Can you give me any feedback as to the cause of this.”

Dear Valerie Thank you for your product review. The problem you have with the flow of the hot water is probably related to the fact you have a gravity fed hot water system but have purchased a tap which needs a high pressure system. The Caple Deluxe single lever is shown as needing a minimum of 0.5 bar pressure. It also comes as standard with flexible tailpipe connection which again, are not suitable with a low pressure system. It might be worth looking at our low pressure guide to work out the exact hot water pressure you have and then call our technical team on 01759 307262.
