Hi Ruth This is fairly common with ceramic sinks and can be caused by baking trays and grill pans. We recommend using a cleaning powder called Barkeepers Friend. With a good scrub it will remove any black lines on your sink. It is also perfect for using around the home!

“Very good quality sink. My advice is to buy the correct waste and overflow due to the thinkness of the ceramics. Standard items don't fit. Best to buy at the same time and you won't be delayed or be disappointed. Naturally heavy so take care when lifting.”
