“I have been a fan of shotscope for years . I have 3 generations of their watches. I thought i was upgrading from my V3 but have been feeling let down by my X5. My watch constantly loses what hole i am on and the touch screen is very fiddly to use”

“I have used the watch a few times now. the 1st time i used it was after I was requested to update all info held on the watch. Great! i thought, now off to my local course. Now, the reason I bought this watch is that my course changed its layout in April this year where it combined 1 hole to make a long par 4 and added a new par 3 18th. My old GPS was years old so I took the plunge and bought this new watch. I was a bit miffed when I used it for the 1st time and the new layout was not loaded onto the watch. It still showed it as the old layout. So, as advertised, I contacted Shotscope and let them know the details of my course (Falmouth, Cornwall)and the update would be done in 48 hours. I received an email response that my request had been received. 7 days later I went out to the course and it was still not correct. nor was it when I last played 10 days ago. Shotscope, please do as you say and update me. This is a great little watch but it does not do as advertised and I might as well have stuck with my old-style GPS and range finder.”
