A good, budget friendly golf watch. Watch works well on the course, but app could be improved. Unable to edit rounds on mobile app due to UI issues, but able to edit on web browser. Watch can last only 1.5 rounds. Powering up after shutdown should be more delibrate. It comes on too easily. This will help save battery life when watch is not in use.

As a GPS watch i am satisfied with it giving distances to green and hazards. It misses about 20% of my shots, has me on the wrong tee box about 50% of the time. In about 10 rounds i havent been able to connect it to my phone at the course to edit after a round. dork mode/ sleep mode too quick about 3-5 seconds. If i would have known how much of a headache it was to connect to itself i would have bought another product but i dont want to pay for an arrcos subscription.

X5 arrived a few signs of use , acceptable for a display model . First round GPS worked ok but none of the clubs were picked up and would not upload to the app but disappeared from watch. Took the straps of cleaned the contacts , round 2 GPS and tracking clubs now being picked up(some shots and club changes not picked up) . Still learning and a few more rounds on all working not to bad. We are getting there me and the X5. Now lets master the APP.

I have have used the X5 for about 6 or 7 rounds of golf so far. It's mainly been wet and windy weather. I take a dry cloth with me and wipe the watch and my hands when operating the watch (it's not difficult) and quicker than writing a negative review about the watch!! So far 'difficulties' I have had have been my misunderstanding of how the watch functions and how various functions work. Watched a few YouTube tutorials and reread the instructions and amazingly the watch starts to work correctly! A much improved watch over the V3. I admit I was sceptical after reading a lot of negative comments about upgrading but I don't regret it at all. I have always had great help from customer service when I had problems with my V2 and V3 and I am sure this will continue with the X5. I tend to ask Shotscope for help rather than Facebook groups as you get the correct information rather 20 different opinions. Like anything new the watch will improve with development and I am looking forward playing as much golf as I can with my new X5.

Have used the previous versions of shotscope watches (v2 and v3) and this is without doubt the best one. It fits and looks very well on the wrist and the GPS performance is very good. I chose the ex display and it might as well have been brand new.

This X5 watch shows they're paying attention and working to make things better. It is certainly more intuitive than the old one and the menu system works far better too. The accuracy is pretty much the same as the old one with better battery life. My only glitch is that it sometimes misses moving on to the next hole which caused lots of confusion the first time as I knew I wasn't 750 yards from the hole. Getting it on the right hole was a trial the first time around, but I've become better at it with practice.

I’m a big fan of shotscope in general. I upgraded from shotscope V2 to the X5 recently. I also changed out the tags to the new ones that came with the X5. The X5 is more appealing aesthetically. Unfortunately, I’ve experienced more issues with missed shots and duplicate shots since switching to the X5. Not sure if that is attributable tot he new tags or the watch itself. I also feel like the touchscreen is finicky. I preferred the simple button interface of V2. Overall, I still love shotscope but wish I had just stayed with the V2.

The parcel came open as seen in the file. It’s not easy to connect with the apps. It was a bad choice.
