“OK Let's deal with The Elephant in the room. The Battery drains unbelievably fast. Due to health issues, I'm only managing 9 Holes (on foot) at a time at present and My X5 is down to around 55% charge remaining. AFTER 9 HOLES !!! So that means that, when conditions allow Buggies, I can't play 2x Rounds of 18H in a Day !!! That is EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING & FRUSTRATING, isn't it ? And here's why. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY X5 It's AMAZING ! On the Course, its spot on, no question !! The FREE Shotscope App is UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. The Stats that the App generates ARE helping Me to focus My efforts on improving My game. My Shotscope X5 is without question the most impressive piece of Golf Equipment that I have ever bought EXCEPT for the fact that the battery is PATHETIC, FEEBLE and entirely unfit for purpose. I see that the next Question is "How would You rate the value for money ?" My answer would be "The same as buying a Ferrari with a Lawnmower engine !" Then, "How easy to use", TBH it's fiddly and unreliable to the point where it can slow My game down OR I have to settle for Editing things at home via My Tablet & the EXCELLENT App.”

“Have used shotscope products for a numbers of years and functionally the X5 is an improvement on the V3 product. My only issue, and it's a big one is the battery life. Only lasts 1 day on normal mode and no way am I getting 2 rounds out of the battery before charging is required.”

“I think that a series of step by step how to do videos would help a great deal. I would think instruction on how to use the watch from a perspective of someone who has never used a golf watch would make the watch a lot more user friendly.”
