“Had this watch for a full year. Numerous firmware updates completed. Still experiencing poor performance. In particular failure to open pin collect on every hole, failure to move to next hole played, ending round unexpectedly.”

“I bought the watch when it was first released. Worked flawlessly until the last firmware upgrade which appears to have caused issues with the watch's ability to read the club tags. I have done hard reboots on multiple occasions and this does not appear to rectify the issue. Club was intermittent but not even if I place the tag directly against either the watch face or on the watch band the tags are not read. All settings within settings are set to allow/display tag info. This was not an issue with previous firmware.”

“I had the V3 and loved it, I like the upgraded features of the X5 and in particular support team confirmed that it will have full hole view in near future (it was meant to arrive at the end of summer 2023...still waiting). GPS is very accurate (compared with a range finder side by side on course), it is simple to use and the app is fantastic giving great stats The bad points are in the rain it is not very usable, the touch screen can't handle it. Plenty of times I'm in the middle of the green and it won't go into putts count screen, still has me at X yards are from green. I really think once the kinks are worked out and hole view is available this is a fantastic value product. If you compare it for another GPS watch for the same price I don't think you can get close it what shot scope offer overall Bluetooth connectivity is very intermittent, I often find myself restarting the app and watch before it pairs”

“This watch has the capability to lower a normal amateur scores, players who practice Distant they carry the ball will improve!! with time. a certain amount of ability is also needed.”

“If you are looking for a GPS watch that tracks your stats at the same time this is all you need. I have found GPS on course to be quite accurate, courses are easy to find and with new features constantly being rolled out you just cant go wrong with the X5. Stat tracking is not only eye opening but is rather fun to go look at after your round or your game as whole.”

“Watch delivers on distances to hazards & club performances, to a degree. I find initialisation at start of round to be long winded. The step count function does not work when pushing a trolley. Fine when carrying. End of round & exiting the programme is difficult, if not signing off immediately.”
