“After some initial glitches the X5 works great. I mainly want the club tracking info, but it is nice to have yardages to water and bunkers when needed. I find the yardages accurate when compared to my other gps or to range finders that my golf buddies use. Support is very good and have used them to correct errors found on my home course of tee boxes hidden by trees.”

“The X5 is my 3rd upgrade. I continue to have major issues with the club chips communicating with the watch which requires a lot of editing after the round. This has been an issue from the start. Until this is fixed I can no longer recommend your GPS watch.”

“Wanted the watch for the stats. Since the latest update this has been better but as so many have said in the rain its awful. I have both the watch and scope but I'm selling both as I'll get the new LX+”

“This is the second Shot Scope I have owned. Unfortunately, this model is not as good as the previous model. Cons: 1) the battery life is terrible. I cannot get 36 holes in with this X5. 2) The having to swipe up to unlock the watch is ridiculously annoying. 3) Not as user friendly as the previous model.”

“I have found the software of both the X5 and Android phone software to be inconsistent to say the least. I have updated a number of times but have found a number of issues, including the current one where I cannot complete an edit.”

“I have had multiple shotscope products, started with the V2 and upgraded to the V3 when it came out and then pre ordered the X5 when it was announced because I loved my V3 and thought the company was great to deal with. Having been using my X5 over the summer season I have been frustrated by the step backwards in quality of the tags that go into the grips. Having been a user of the products for approximately 4 years and never having an issue with the tags before I have had two of the tags snap completely, one was at impact and the sensor caught me in the eye. The other broke in the bag during a round. There are multiple others that have hairline cracks in them and after reaching out to shotscope they admitted they knew the tags weren’t as good and replaced the broken one with an older one and haven’t bothered to replace the rest that are cracked for me. Feel very let down by them with this after being such a good product in previous versions.”
