Watch is nice looking, fits well and very functional. My only issue is when I edit the round I almost always have to uninstall and reinstall the app on my phone. I prefer do do all editing on my phone for convenience. My laptop may not have this issue, but my phone does.

This is a great tool to improve your golf game. Allows you to focus on the round you are playing without constantly fiddling with your phone. The stats captured are useful and well presented to allow for maximum information gain. Only one slight drawback and I think I found a solution. The problem is that when it is raining and I am wearing rain gear sometimes the sleeve of the jacket will unlock the watch and record things or otherwise switch things up. However, if I just put the face of the watch on the palm side of my wrist that seems to work. Great product. Great customer support. Great price. Tom S.

The touch sensitivity as the can be hit and miss. If it's raining, then water on the watch severely restricts it's ability to function and items will scroll through or be selected without being physically touched. Recent updates have made the functionally better. As a physical product it's stylish. And for most part as a golf watch it tells me what I need to know.

The watch performs adequately and gets better with each new firmware release. There are still some bugs with tagging clubs but most of the touch screen issues and the necessity of hard resets seem to have gone away.

I purchased the X5 because of the non-subscription plan being offered. I was not going to pay $160 per year to arccos. The watch provides me with the info I need to enjoy my game. Having purchased new clubs in Feb. I needed new yardage for each club. This fit the bill. It does miss 7-10 shots per round but the arrcos system missed 20 shots per round. A vast improvement to me. Nothing is perfect but the watch serves it purpose for me. Items I would like to see improvement on. 1. Changing a hole is difficult 2. Changing a score is difficult 3. If you start on the back the watch wants to end the round after hole 18. No option to move to hole 1. Forces you to go into the menu to change hole. See point 1 4. The watch only lasts one round. After a round I am down to 40% battery

The battery doesn't last for 36 holes. I played a tourney a few weeks ago and it gave out after about 30 holes. I just went on a golf trip and didn't use the scoring feature and it only lasted 32 holes. The swipe feature isn't reliable. Same with trying to press icons on the screen. Some distances are off. I do like knowing distances I get off each club each shot.

I purchase a V3 watch at its introductory price and was very happy with its performance after some initial debugging by Shot Scope. Similarly, I purchased the X5 at its introductory price and, again, after some initial debugging by Shot Scope, have been very happy with its performance. Although, many of the comments about the X5 on the Shot Scope User Group Facebook page have been negative, I have chalked up a lot of them up to little or no understanding of the operating instructions. It seems there is a reluctance these days to read instructions or watch the instructional videos.

In short, I love the watch. For a reasonable one time cost, you get a lifetime of usable stats and gps features, the new phone app is awesome as well making this a viable option to arcos.
