“I haven't had it long and have not learned all of its features yet. I have used the metrics tags before with my H5 and if the new tags are better than I expect them to be great. I am hoping there is a way to turn off the screen lock as that is the only real peave. Screen is bright and clear dx is available for all the hazards, greens FMB and lay ups. I will personally be switching to a breathable watchband but the one provided has many slots for adjustment and can be made snug without being tight. I made the right choice with this smart watch.”

“Watch works great, the add on features such as short cuts are welcome, my only annoyance is the sesitivity of the Power button. I shut off the watch put it away in my bag and later find it on with the power depleted. The slightest depression of the Power button while in the golf bag pocket reactivates the watch, there should be a time lapse or # of rapid successive depression prior to activation to avoid this from appening.”

“I always have to hope and pray that the watch is going to work. Meaning it will connect to GPS flawlessly. The watch does not disconnect when I'm in the middle of a good game.”

“I like this watch, it looks nice, performs pretty well and has got better with time due to updates, but it is not without fault. I do trust shot scope as a company and they are rolling out new functionality and fixes, so things are improving all the time. The app, and club tag functionality are excellent and I’ve always found the support team very prompt and helpful.”

“Good and useful, but a little short on battery capacity. Mostly sufficient for 18, after that only 35% left. The firmware updates are very helpful, should be installed as soon as they are released! Allegedly a course layout should be implemented with one of the next updates... let's wait and see.”

“I gave my wife my V3, which I was very happy with, when I upgraded to the X5. Initially the X5 was a bit flaky but after the first software update and a couple of hard restarts it has been working wonderfully since. The GPS locks in a short time, the real time scoring is very accurate and I now need to make very few changes when signing off each round. As a beginner golfer I have made full use of the Shot Scope statistics and honestly think this has improved my game. For me the X5, and the earlier V3, have been excellent products and I really love the fact that there are no subscription payments. I will continue to use the statistics and with the help of Shot Scope continue to improve my golf.”
