I've had the V3 since it first came out and it's been great. The V5 has added some really useful features like full hole colour overview and score recording which ai really like. Plus the V5 looks great and I wear it as my daily watch. Only slight negative is that some shots still get missed but it's easy enough to edit after the round.

Clear screen and large numerals , but takes a little while to remember the sequence of button presses Have some difficulty with connecting to phone to sync the round. I have had to delete it from Bluetooth option on mobile then re pair the phone to the watch.

De V5 heb je redelijk snel onder de knie. De functies die erop zitten zijn duidelijk. Wat ikzelf heel prettig vind is dat de V5 op " slot" gaat tijdens het golfen zodat je niet onbedoeld een knop activeert.

Great for understanding how far you hit each club (using the app statistics); great for getting read on middle/back/front of greens and to various hazards. Only 1 knock: as I don't take practice swings with putter, it often doesn't register locaiton of first putting stroke. also, for "tap in" after pitch where you don't go on the green, watch has to be manually moved to next hole.

I really wanted this product to perform as expected, but it falls short in a number of areas that I believe are readily addressable. If there are ways to accomplish what I'm listing, they don't seem to be documented. * Connect to Device - This is flaky and should be simple. I don't have issues with any other Bluetooth connection to a products from any other company, regardless of the industry. * Manual Putting - I have an arm-lock putter, so I use manual putting. Even without the arm-lock, manual seems like a better implementation. But, if your ball isn't on the green, and you walk onto or close to the green, suddenly you're in putting mode. Sure, I can walk a long way away from the green, but then the watch thinks I'm on the next hole??? So, I have to add in lots of the short game shots after the round. Not ideal. How about a button that allows me to inform the watch that I'm on the green? * Chunks - It happens. There should be a way for the system to be informed that even though I didn't move much, and I'm using the same club, that I'm hitting another shot. Yes, I can add strokes at the end of the hole, but much better to do in real-time. * Location of greens, bunkers, etc. are not super precise, but it seems like GPS technology is capable of much more accurate recognition of space. In editing mode, I've had to drag the flag icon from out of bunkers, rough, etc. Part of this might relate to the putting issue listed above. * Unlock - In the PNW, we need to sometimes bundle up and wear rain gear. It's easy for clothing to hit the unlock button and mess up settings, enter shots, end the round, etc. Maybe a longer duration hold on the unlock button would be better? Maybe it could be a two button unlock? * Tees - Courses don't have all the tees. Seems like the company is reliant on its customers to add tees. Sometimes that's not feasible, as some rounds are last-minute events. Or, the group wants to play different tees, which could be decided at the course. Hopefully some, if not all, of these can be addressed in a future update. I'm considering returning the watch because it's too much hassle to work around what could be simple enhancements.

I switched over from Arccos to the Shot Scope this year. The best part is the data. It's easy to understand and the tagging works great on the watch. The battery life is amazing and I'm just loving this community.
