I have only had the watch for 2 weeks and used it twice. The watch connected to the app easily and transfered all the details of my round for further anylysis. It provides an impressive amount of detail and points to the many areas which need a great deal of improvement.

Just received my V5 a couple of weeks ago. I had the V2, then V3, then X5, and now the V5. The V3 was great with no problems, X5 I got rid of because of the touch screen. So far I love the V5, with the V3 and X5 technology with the look of the X5 but buttons instead of touch screen. Melvin McAleer

I have played two rounds using the V5 watch after previously using a old Garmin golf watch for awhile. The V5 offers all of the yardage, hazard and general hole information that a casual golfer could want and for the price is great value. The shot tracking leaves a little to be desired as I have had to edit about a third of my shots after the round to get accurate fairway and green in regulation stats. It also has some trouble tracking short greenside chips as it automatically enters the pin collect mode so I wish it had an option to wait for me to tell it to enter pin collect mode.

I've used this for a few rounds now and did a lot of research to decide which watch/shot tracking system to use. I evaluate Arccos and Garmin and chose Shot Scope. Arccos turned me off due to the subscription and the price of the Garmin watch didn't seem to justify a few extra features. I am very happy with my decision. The tracking is very easy (once you read the manual), the stats in the app are extremely helpful, and the price is amazing for what you get with the device.

Upgraded from the V3 to the V5 over the X5 preferring the button option over the touch screen, which is great for big finger grown men. Pluses: Screen size Easy set up Free Tags Stat collecting

I've been using Arccos on an Android phone for a couple years and really wanted a watch to get yardage instead of looking at my phone. I was hoping this would be the one, but sadly it falls short. The watch will give ground yardage, but doesn't take into account things like slope or wind, which is a bummer. I might just keep it as a GPS watch for that reason, but want to try a few others. But the tracking interface leaves a lot to be desired. I assumed it would let you review and edit your shots on your phone so you could easily delete or move them around. I was way wrong; you can't do anything until the very end when you want to sync. My memory ain't that great so this was a deal breaker for me. If they could get the watch and app to interact with each other for live editing and round review, this would score way higher in my books.

Had one round, all working well so far. Love the look of the watch and like the tracking of my distances.
