First GPS watch and love it. Easy to navigate, looks good and is very accurate when compared to a Caddy Talk rangefinder I have. The best feature hands down is the shot tracking. Unreal that it is included with your purchase and doesn't require an additional subscription. That alone makes this watch worth every penny.

At the $180 price, V5 is good value. Only possible issue is claim of 2+ rounds per charge. I completed a 4.75 hour round and had 44% charge remaining.

Watch takes some getting use to. GPS seems spot on but the trcking is hit and miss. It missed several shots during the tracking where my V3 ever miss a one. Don't like you have to hit the unlock before you can change the screen. The display is way too dim and the brightness isnt adjustable.

Takes Time to get used to. Still have not figured out the statistics review. One suggestion is that the wrist band should be made longer...

Previously had V3 and then X5 watches on release. V3 was excellent and then changed to X5 when it came out specifically for the green view feature. Decided to sell the X5 because of the touch screen aspects which didn't work in the rain. The V5 is a replica of the X5 but using the buttons instead of the touchscreen which I much prefer. The GPS club tracking is superb and the free app is really worth it when it comes to your data. The watch and app have resulted in my cutting 4 to 6 shots off my Handicap, as the data collected really gives you the correct information and helps you work on the aspects of your game that need work, rather than what you think needs attention. This watch is a superb investment and I expect it to help me reduce my Handicap further. Really worth the money.

The V5 so far has been great to use. It was an upgrade over my current V3. The reason was for a fewcextra features mainly hole map....although not had to use this feature in anger as I have only played home course so far.

I tried an earlier iteration of this watch and gave up because it just didn't record enough of my shots, I can't spend an hour after each round editing and tying to remember each shot played. So I ordered the V5 hoping that this obvious drawback had been rectified. Sadly not. I'm still missing around ten shots a round and although you can now specify how many shots you've played after each hole you can't accept that score afterwards as your round score you have to edit the score the watch had guessed, which is invariably wrong. All still very frustrating for me and I'm considering returning it.

I've played a couple of rounds and love the v5 and tag system. It doesn't pick up every shot, but I never expected it to, however it does capture most. The putting is going to take time to get used to, and is where it loses most of my shots, although i suspect i just need to adapt as well. My biggest issue is that I habitually walk away without doing the pin mark bit. Something I just need to make a habit
