I have both the V3 and V5 GPS watches, both are superb with the V5 being more stylish and faster.I would recommend both watches as the product is reliable and related app are reliable and give all the stats you need.

I have about 15 rounds in now with the V5 and I am very satisfied with it. The yardage has been consistently accurate and updates quickly. I have only had a few occasions where the V5 didn't pick up my club. My only issue has been when my approach lands close to the green (mostly, when I am long) the V5 puts me on the green and it isn't readily apparent how to back off of the green (on the device) to record a chip.

This watch is really helping me find the areas of my golf game to work on. It shows me stats for every part of my game! It is so easy to use and picks up my clus automaticaly. I use manual putting inputs on the watch to get the most accurate putting locations on the green. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to get better at golf!

This watch is an improvement overt the V3 watch. I looks better. I like that it counts steps while playing. The tags have captured most of the shots, very little editing at the end. The scorecard function is great, you get to verify the score before it records. The buttons to navigate is very easy to learn and use. Great watch for the price.

I purchased the ShotScope V5 a very short while ago. I am still learning to use it and the phone app. I made the purchase because of the buttons in lieu of touch screen and love the buttons. So much easier to use than touch screens, at least for me. The watch responds very quickly to all screens and each page within each screen. It is also very accurate. So far, I have used just the gps for hole and hazard distances on the course. I will shortly add score keeping then add the club sensors. The watch looks very nice. It also recharges very quickly after using around 40% of the battery for 18 holes. This is a great product that I recommend and that I would purchase again.

I had been using the V2 for a couple of years and was happy enough with the performance, but lately, the battery would give up after 15 holes so I invested in a V5. Battery life is good, could easily manage 36 holes in a day and it is easy to find courses. On course however, it fails to detect the club in hand while taking a normal grip - the tag needs to be held against it. Result is that my score is way underestimated and I spend 15 minutes adjusting it post round. Navigating the screens while on the course is not great, and far too time consuming. I've only used it 12 times so hope that I can adapt to it, but that is not ideal. P.S. I click the OK, Fair, & Ok buttons on this survey and it records Good, Easy & Good!
