“I have only played 1 round with these so far and it was not too difficult, although I missed a couple of drives and had to add these later in the online computer app. Masses of data which will help as rounds increase. Unfortunately we were on temperary greens so did not match the standard course template but again this should improve as more rounds are added. I did a 3 off the Tee second shot and couldn't find any way to add this as there only seems to be a 1 shot penalty.”

“Andy from Shotscope has been sorting out my teething problems. Use to use Arcchos which I loved but cost too expensive. Got Connex but forget to tag before each shot which is annoying but my fault. Can tag with phone in pocket but then some miss and you don’t know until too late. Will get use to it and will def grow on me. Customer service from Andy has been first class.”

“Had this a few months now, I struggled with distances first time as it said I drove over 400 yards, but you just need to let the app find the GPS signal, done 5 rounds now and been impressed, no strange readings, don't need to unlock phone just sits in my pocket, take it out to see distance and scan. Easy. I know know my average club distances, and stats are great.”

“Took me 9 holes to work it out properly but I have to say it is easy. Only had one round and found the putting is a bit annoying . Wish you could load your hole score manually”

“I was attracted to connex as it apeared to offer a great value solution to understanding my data and help to improve. The setup is easy and instructions clear. The problem is that using it on the course is very cumbersome. The marketing material shows being able to tap your club on your phone kept.in your pocket. To date I have not been able to get this to work without the phone locking and not being able to tap the club. This means you can only really use the tags if you physically carry your.phone, unlock it before each shot. This does not work for me. I use the G6 for distances and not the phone. With hindsight I should have bought the watch with gps tags connected. If though you do use a gps phone app, then I think this will be an essential solution for you. For me, I wish I could now upgrade the watch to use the tags!”

“I have used the shot scope tags for 3 rounds now, and I am impressed with the range of stats that they produce. They have already highlighted an area for development which I was not aware of! My one critisim is the freezing of the app, when on greens and I have left my putt inches short. I think it struggles to register this and the hole and thus freezes. The only way round I have found for this is restarting my phone which is not ideal while waiting to play.”
