“I've used garmin products for years, thought I'd give this one a try because I liked the bare basics golf watch. All I need are distances(front,middle,back), and score keeper. The reason for 3 stars is because the score keeper is only 3stars. When your on the green, the score pops up as it should. However, it should stay there until u input your score. This doesn't, it moves on to the next hole if you forget. Also the score doesn't always pop up, so now I have to open the scorecard, find the hole I want, and enter the score.”

“I'm very happy with the G5 although I wish it had some of the features of the more expensive watch that connects with the club inserts. It is easy to read, finds satellites quickly and is in service quickly. I haven't figure out whether there is a way to turn on scoring--it flashes by with no ability to choose--and I'm still a bit confused about how to end a round or turn the watch off when you elect to leave the course before finishing all 18 holes. The watch bands are particularly comfortable and stay on your wrist with none of the problems that plagued the original wrist bands.”
