I've been wanting to dip my toes in the world of FPGA development for a while now and found the existing boards difficult to use (i.e. setting up development environments etc). This little board overcomes this. I was up and running in about 1 hour.

“A fantastic ,well made board, with enough resources to keep the more advanced user happy as well as the beginner. The open source tool chain is cinch to set up under APIO. There was just one glitch. If you are using Ubuntu 18.04 the ModemManager might take over the serial port despite the udev rules, running
sudo systemctl stop ModemManager.service
at the command line seams to sort the problem out.”
