“I've attached it to a garden gate by by placing inside a waterproof enclosure. Since the distance to the magnet is larger than specified I've used a stronger magnet than the one supplied. This has been working flawlessly.
I have no doubt that the supplied magnet would work well if mounted at the correct distance to the sensor.
The ZigBee connection has also been rock steady.”
