“Very happy with these devices they look nice and work well so far. However after setting them up in Home Assistant I was alerted that a firmware update was available. The update failed several times so I tried removing them and setting up again. The firmware prompt then seemed to appear almost immediately so I promptly proceeded with the update. This worked fine each time. It seems that the data logging doesn't work without the firmware update.”
“Paired with ZBT-1 on HA installed from rpi on Pi5. Paired WITHOUT app. The instructions for the Sonoff devices all seem to say pair with the app but I dont have anything to install the app on, so this nearly put me off trying HA at all. Obviously I can't guarantee that not using the app would work for everyone but perhaps you could mention it on your website as a possibility? Quirk with battery percentage after HA upgraded the firmware but works fine.”
