“Oh "boy" do I love the Arduboy. First of all i love the form factor,it is exactly the size of a credit card, just thicker so it fits perfectly in my wallet, the battery life is also really good actually for it's size, about 5-6 hours i believe. de buttons are really nice and clicky, it is so sturdy, pretty much indestructible. the FX version also has so much more than the 250+ games as advertised, a bunch of cool programs like from using your arduboy as keyboard or mouse or gamepad input, to using it as an egg timer to prefectly cook your eggs and on top of that, whatever else you van imagine and program pretty much, all on this little thing. I now spend more time gaming on the arduboy than I do on my pc. This would be an awesome gift to anyone who is into retro things or programmers or even kids, and they could learn a lot from it too.”
“The preloaded games make for a nice starter library and I'm so far enjoying working through some tutorials to learn a bit of coding. The portability is nice too but I'm going to purchase something to keep it in to protect it from damage. Looking at business card holders.”
“I had previously purchased the single game version of the Arduboy to see how easy it was to upload games from the very extensive library or to write one myself? Then saw that an upgrade was apparently available to increase the memory and hence store more games.
But that seemed to have been discontinued however I was fortunate to see the FX advertised from Pimoroni. So I ordered one of the very few left in their stock and I'm very pleased with it.
So I can now test out new games on my original Arduboy and then upload them onto the FX.
Truly the best of both worlds for me.”
