“I ordered two LoRa-E5 mini to get started with LoRa. Unfortunately, something that is not said in this page is that you cannot program the microcontroller through serial. You need an external programmer such as the ST-Link.
Upon further investigation, I have not been able to find any documentation whatsoever about how to use I2C or even read an analog channel. The tutorials that I have been able to find focus on configuring the device for radio transmission and not for reception.
In the end, I bought a couple of modules from Adafruit for learning about LoRa since these have great support, tutorials, and are easy to use.
I understand that Pimoroni is a distributor, and in this case I think that it is the responsibility of ST-Microelectronics to improve the documentation and provide examples on how to use their product.”
