Excellent display! Be cautious that you don't plug the power plug on backwards.

Fantastic little display. Atm is sitting on my bedside table as a daily driver for YouTube. I intend to make a little laptop out of it.

Nice screen, touch works fine but I'd rather use a mouse and keyboard. Sets up nicely with the pibow frame and can be set up to stand in landscape or portrait mode. I use the screen with a Pi5, a cooler and the Pi M.2 hat with an SSD... it means I have to power the screen with limited access to the gpio 5V & GND, so I've used one of the USB ports to tap off the power lines for the screen. With an 8GB Pi5, this screen and booting and running from an SSD it makes a useful arm dev. platform.

Easy to install and get running on Bookworm. Looks excellent. Touch is a bit fiddly on the normal desktop, but if you're running a programme with chunky touch buttons, it should be fine.

Unfortunately, the screen is in portrait mode by default. With the Raspi you can change the screen to landscape format. However, the touch function does not follow this. I haven't found a way to change the touch function to landscape format. I'm disappointed. Update: After reading the Display Touch 2 documentation and doing some research, I solved the problem. Three things need to be done. 1. Paste "dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-ili9881-7inch" into /boot/firmware/config.txt. 2. Activate the function "Labwc window manager with Wayland backend" in raspi-config/Advanced Options/Wayland. 3. In Preferences/Screen Configuration/Layout/Screens/DSI-1/Rotation select "Left". After reading the Display Touch 2 documentation and doing some research, I solved the problem. That's why I'm changing my review to "Very Good"!

Ahoy Paul! Display and touch can be rotated using Raspberry Pi OS's 'Screen Configuration' utility (under 'Preferences' in the menus). If you don't manage to get it working please send over as much info as you can about what you've tried to support@pimoroni.com and we'll do our best to help :)
