“This board is amazing for the money. It has an ecosystem of cases and addons ready to go, and a great community of nice people ready to help. Aside from that, it's fantastic on its own with a very capable processor, small size, and 40 ready-to-go GPIO pins. It's ideal for embedded applications where you just want to stick it somewhere and leave it alone. It's not ideal for development (it has only one USB and no network connection), but it's not designed for that. I find it helpful to have a full-size pi to develop on, and then just transfer the SD card and away you go. Couldn't be better.”
