“Lovely little case; I will admit to liking the black/grey aesthetic over the red/white alternative.
The case is sturdy, and will definitely protect your Pi5 from bumps and bruises. The fact that you can fit the official active cooler inside is a major plus. I'd have liked a spot where you could fit the RTC battery so it doesn't flap about, and the clips that hold the lid down are a little tighter than the ones that hold the two-part chassis together, meaning you need to be careful when removing the lid to avoid the case disassembling in your hand. But other than those two issues, I'm entirely happy with the case.”
“Seriously good value. Everything clips together and looks super-neat. My only criticism is the official case obscures the new power button on the Pi 5 which seems a bit daft, but this is a small cricisim (how often does anyone ever power these things down when they pull so little power anyway?). This new Pi 5 case has a coolong fan and the noise is briefly noticeable when you first boot up the Pi unit, but thereafter it's pretty much silent.”
“I have chosen the black Case for my new RPI and it looks awesome. Everything fits very nicely together, enough clearance for all I/O and they even added a heatsink. The case itself looks pretty sturdy and well thought out.”
