Nice case, I have the black version. No tools needed to fit it, access to the GPIO header and the fan works great for keeing the Raspberry Pi 5 within an accepable temperature range.

As with cases for previous models of the Raspberry Pi, the Official Case with Fan for the Raspberry Pi 5 is a durable hard shell with access to the device’s various ports and micro SD card slot. The board fits neatly in place and the lid sits on top with airflow for the fan. The heatsink and fan are easy to install and, despite their tiny size, are able to cool the SOC quite effectively.

Very small and unobtrusive. Even though i've been driving the Pi hard, there have been no heat issues.

Works really well, the RPI5 just drops straight in and there's not a lot more to do than to plug in the fan connector (actually the hardest part is teasing out the plug covering the port for the connector and it's not that hard reall) then it just snaps together. There are some holes where the board drops in lining up with the board which I assume will take standoffs or something but nothing extra supplied with it other than some feed. Anyway once the top is on everything seems secure. The gummy cover for the power also shines through the power status LED. Basic, and just works.
