“Robust Power Supply for Raspberry Pi 5 – No Power Struggles! The increased power capacity brought stability, ensuring consistent performance during resource-heavy tasks. Connecting peripherals is now worry-free, thanks to the extra power headroom. Easy setup, solid build, and seamless integration with the Raspberry Pi 5 make this power supply a top choice.”
“Power supply works fine, just a shame that the Pi Foundation decided to use a PD standard that is not in wide use. I have several PD chargers from 45W up to 140W, but none support 5.1V at 27W...”
“You definitely need the 27w charger to supply the pi 5 with the power it needs, seems to work very well I've had no messages about not enough power. Usb c is a lot better than micro usb which is very fragile.”
“PSU's power definitely helps when running USB drives and is more stable than similar/alternative power sources. An improvement would be slightly longer cable as it is long enough just to reach a table top from a power socket on the floor, when fiddling it is useful to have a bit more clearance to connect and disconnect devices.”
