“I mean not much to say, its the official PSU. Works fine. I didn't have much luck with it in terms of overclocking (minor not even that high) I got a voltage warning symbol when it booted up. I'm not blaming the PSU, it was likely my user error in the boot.txt file for voltage settings or my RPi5 simply doesn't like to be overclocked. Either way. No issues with the PSU running the RPi5 stock as designed. I have purchased a 3rd party one to see if I can overclock or not. But since that's technically supported (overclocking) I will not take points off the PSU for that. Again likely user error! Another fine RPi official product!”
“I think one of the wrong point of Raspberry Pi 5 is this power supply problem.
Other brand's SBD can use USB PD as power supply.
But Raspberry Pi 5 need to use this as extra product.”
“Small design and built solidly. Provides recommended power amperage to the RPi 5 as it requires more power than the RPi4 when using the RPi 5 for anything useful. Especially needed if you are connecting stuff to the USB ports.”
