“A lot more compact than I thought. Easy to fit. Works well and is very quiet, keeps the temperature under 60C while running the stress tests. Perfect!”
“Word on the street is that you basically can't run a Pi 5 without some proper cooling, so this is a bit of a no-brainer for an extra £5. Simple to install (a couple of push-pins which click through holes on the board) and I've got no issues with my Pi 5's temperatures. The fan fires up at full throttle when you first turn on the power, then slows right down: at full tilt, it's quite noisy/whiny in an open style case. But I'm using this Pi as a second mini office PC which I can boot up quickly or for when I can't be bothered to dock my laptop. I have an NVME hat and drive installed, and this cooler sits fine under it. Since I don't tend to max out in normal use, the cooler basically silent or extremely quiet most of the time once. CPU/GPU are overclocked to 2800/1000, and everything seems rock solid.”
“The cooler fits perfectly onto the Raspi5 board. Depending on the CPU load the cooler starts and stops to keep the temperature lower..
A good invest!”
