“It worked as it's meant to and was more robust than expected. Care should be taken to find online videos on how to attach the pi cable to the board and camera. The correct video makes it a lot easier than brute force and guess work.”

Nice long cable to give you that extra reach when you want to position the camera a bit further away from the Pi. The ribbon itself is quite solid, hopefully that should reduce the potential to tear. Nobody likes a torn ribbon cable :-)”
