“This is an excellent upgrade from the Pi4, I am booting from an NVMe drive with Pimoroni NVMe base and the performance is fantastic. I finally feel I can use a Pi as a desktiop replacement. My computer vision projects all run much more smoothly on the 5.”
“When I paired this with an NVMe base and SSD, experience wise it was an order of magnitude faster than my Pi4 with USB connected SSD. Web pages open much faster and, by comparison, installing apps was lightening fast . Setting it up to boot from NVMe SSD was simple (possible on the Pi4 but a bit of a faf!)
