“Tiny, Cheap, and amazingly capable. Had it running the flash sample code within 10 minutes of having it. Micropython is easy to install and works really well with Thonny.
Have now soldered on headers an bought some other components to make the most of it. (Breadboards, LEDs, Resistors, Switches etc...)
I guess the next step will be C++, but that looks a bit more involved :)

“What a computer, £4 for 2 cores, lots of flash and memory. USB disk mode support so mounts as a disk and can access the on-board file which allows downloading MicroPython or how to use the SDK for C/C++.
Really great little controller useful for all sorts, maybe some day someone will port Arduino to it (though allegedly Arduino are producing a board based on the RP2040 SoC). Lots of IO too.”
