I ordered my Pi Zero 2 W and it arrived, carefully packaged, the next day! It's now powering my robot, controlling a camera, travel motors, steering servos, IR and ultrasound proximity detectors, and talks to an onboard Pi Pico that monitors the battery level. It consumes less than 0.5A (Bluetooth and TV out disabled).

My first PiZero. I love it. So compact yet really useful. I bought a 3 port USB & Ethernet adapter which gives me some added connectivity options while i experiment with it. On it's own it is very capable !

Lovely bit of kit for projects of small to medium size not demanding heavy calculating power. Multiprocessing means it is efficient -- for example in my last two projects ... 1) two Pi02s working in tandem as a cellar pump controller and a remote monitor using two way broadcast and subscribe over LAN. Either can message my phone over Telegram if there is a problem [there is also a Pi3B watching the other two for development/debug ] 2) An RGB christmas tree, plugged into another Pi02 - now speeded up to use fasttree code - which listens to my phone for instructions on which patterns and colours to display ( it's fun with grandchildren that putting their name in the phone chooses 'their' pattern)
