“Awesome. Reminds me of my c64. All neatly packed into one box. Just connect to a monitor or tv and off you go. Fab!
I installed 64bit OS which is in beta. Work well. Even running teams and liber office. Just need a second monitor now!”
“The first ever Pi was useful but a mass of wires. This is good looking and out the box working fun. Get the full kit. Even if you are an expert, that book is a hoot and will help if you are working with new users. The only thing I would add (if there is a 500) is being able to unplug the raw pi.
p.s. Pimoroni are terrific people”
“This new Pi is so good and quick! I tested it with some of my clients to see if could be a replacement PC and it worked like a dream for them. I totally recommend the Pi 400. It was delivered on time and in perfect condition.”
“Much better than I thought it would be for the price. A good keyboard and great thermal management. i ran up Ubuntu 20.10 Desktop and it is very good. It is smooth and good for the planet #justenoughcompute”
“Exactly what I wanted from a small, simple device for a bit of gentle surfing, Facebooking, email, word processing, Spreadsheeting etc.
Super quick to power up and get going - but if I want to do anything a bit more 'tinkering under the bonnet' (or 'Ficherin' as we say in this part of the world - NE Scotland) - I can do that as well...
And it's very neat - pity about not having an Audio Out though - Maybe in the Pi 401???”
“Love it. I know it's not a new idea, but it's been done well. I'm running ubuntu on mine and have overclocked it slightly. Happy with my purchase and service from pimoroni.”
