“This is what you need to power your Pi 4, especially if you keep getting flashing LEDs and messages about your Pi being under-powered by cheapo 2A PSUs. It does the job and is cheaper than most other PSUs with enough power.
To make it perfect though it could do with having a non-captive cable so I can use a short one for projects where I don't need all that cable length flapping around.”
“Having tried several USB-C power supplies, the only one that didn't throw up any complaints from the Pi-4 was a 60W MacBook charger - which is akin to using a sledgehammer to crack a peanut. Finally bit the bullet and bought a couple of these official power supplies and it was money well spent. Aside from being considerably cheaper than an Apple charger (by a LONG way) these do the job perfectly well and for my current Pi-4 projects they are very much fit & forget as they don't seem to run particularly hot, even after several weeks of continuous use. Top tip and my new mantra - Don't buy a Pi without a supply... Sorted!”
“The best power source for a Raspberry Pi 4 and a bonus is that it is an affordable price, would buy it again for any future Raspberry Pi's I may buy in the future.”
