“Unlike the previous 'Raspberry Pi 4 4GB RAM' that arrived the next day, this one came a bit late and went through the usual probe, https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=0c58439ba5
'Raspberry Pi 4 8GB RAM' is now the main computer and 'remmina' is used to access the other 'head less & arm less' computers on the network (Windows 10 , Ubuntu 20.04 KDE, Debian server - https://oer.marthomacentre.org.uk/ - and some social media on mobile devices)
Really appreciate the prompt replies, to my emails, from support@pimoroni.com .
Looking forward to yet another new version of the wonderful RPi in the near future ;)”
“I've experimented with the beta 64-bit operatiing system and the current 32-bit version. Both run very well on the 8 GB Pi. I had a very intensive series of compilations to do, and the Pi ran flawlessly under a heavy load. Well worth the cost.”
“:D My dream made true. 8GB desktop (64bit arm) linux for less than £100! Add SSD in external USB3 case (and USB boot is now reality!) and that's really cool little desktop. 8GB begs for 64bit Raspberry OS. Even Eclipse works on it!”
