Gigabit Ethernet allows for super fast downloads and updates, and the 8GB of ram allows for multiple applications running well, and is also good for server applications. Paired with the new 64-Bit Raspberry Pi OS allowing for single process to use more than 3GB RAM makes this a really powerful and compact machine.”
“Really great bit of kit. Easily enough power to run a desktop environment, web browser etc with some (sensible) multi tasking. Can be overclocked to 2.1ghz to get that tiny bit extra oomph. This has replaced my old flaky 2013 Macbook pro as my new workstation and i'm not looking back.”
