“The 4B with 4GB transformed the Pi in to viable desktop computer, able to run memory hungry web browsers without grinding to a halt. The 8GB takes that a step further and allows the use of a full development environment at the same time.
I'm sticking with the standard 32 bit Raspbian install, but loading the 64 bit kernel and using raspbian-nspawn-64, so I can take full advantage of the extra memory by running 64 bit applications too.”

There were a few issues using it in 4K but I believe these are mostly to the linux desktop software not being fully prepared for this high resolultion (e.g. font and text sizing and scaling)”
