“A huge upgrade over the Pi3+ with a faster and much more efficient CPU and GPU, the choice of more memory which also runs faster. The sd card port is at least twice as fast and the best upgrade, Gigabit Ethernet and USB3 on separate lanes and not forgetting double 4k output all combine to make this a great little computer.
There are negatives however, the software support as of the beginning of July 2019 is not great. The video drivers need more work as it has problems playing video and many other third party operating systems are not yet available or are in alpha state and very buggy. All of which will improve over time due to the huge support base that the Raspberry Pi has and soon the Pi4 will be the best board to have.”
