I prefer these over my 3B+s. Same boards, but the A+ is way more compact and doesn't have ports that I don't need in 80 per cent of use cases.

Perfect device to run Octoprint on a 3d printer. Even with a handful of addons, only 50% of the memory is used. Device was well packed and quickly delivered, in the sealed box. Everything was as I expected from a good supplier, and the price was right.

Great product, the thinner form is useful for embedding inside other devices. Obviously, be aware of the single USB port compared to it's big brother the model B.

After having managed to source a Pi 4 4GB last year, I had intended to look at some projects and programming. However, this particular Pi has been permanently stolen by the children and is in use as a retro games machine. I was happy when I managed to bag this Pi 3 A+, so that I could actually start using a Pi as I had originally intended! I consider this particular Pi to be pretty much end-of-line, but still a useful SBC. Legacy annoyances such as micro-USB are present, I hate those ports! I purchased a Display HAT mini at the same time, and managed to be fully 'up and running' within 30 mins (probably helped a little with my previous Pi 4 shenanigans). I have a few projects I intend to target at a Pi Zero 2, and horsepower wise this is similar enough to be used as a development board. I'm a software engineer by trade, but never ventured into Python - I happy to say after a few hours I was writing small Python programs that actually worked! Very pleased with this board, it's going to get a lot of use. If I could change anything, I'd want another USB port or two.

So happy to get one of these at last at a reasonable price! This is a lovely little SOC, I use it to run a discord bot and some weather logging and it works a treat.
