Works great in my TV Ambilight (Hyperion) project. You need to look at some videos on YouTube if you don't know what it is. You won't regret it ;) It is awesome. One of the best Raspberry Pi projects!

The raspberry pi zero w is the perfect board to use for any project (thanks to its low and wireless connectivity) i am going to use this to set up a cheap NAS storage device.

I’ve preferred Arduinos for direct sensor access etc. but the RaspBerry Pi Zero W is a very nice piece of hardware! I use it as RFM69 / WLAN gateway. It’s a very flexible solution. I am amazed! The Pimoroni team is super! Delivery to Germany is fast enough.

I was really pleased, yes it is slower than a pi 3 but it's so small and easy to fit into projects that I quite quickly bought a second one and I'm likely get another one for my robotics projects.

We thought that the original zero was great, this takes it to the next level with wireless and Bluetooth, just add a zero4u for extra USB ports

Well, the product quantity is still limited. I would like to get more of them. For interactive use e.g. webbowsing for rare users the RaspberryPI 3 is needed and is doing well. But for automated functionalilty, retrieving data etc, having a Wireless LAN, low engergy consumption the PI Zero W its fine. I will try one Raspberry PI Zero W instead of a normal RaspberryPI as OctoPI on a Ultimaker 2 3D Printer. Another RaspberryPI Zero W will go on my Renault Twizy electric Vehicle.
