The screen is great and worked, as they say, straight out of the box with no issues! (Also the stand is a nifty bit of laser cutting.) I am using mine to control an Arduino-powered central heating boiler timer over WiFi using a Python/Tkinter Gui. It was just what the project needed. Instead of having to fire up a PC or desktop Pi to heat up the water for a bath, the touchscreen can just sit on a shelf in the living room, always ready! The virtual keyboards do have some problems and, in my experience, can cause the Pi to occasionally crash. Florence looks great with some of the non-default styles but doesn't have arrow keys. It needs sudo apt-get install at-spi2-core to make it work (and select "mouse" rather than "touchscreen"). Matchbox has arrow keys but you will need a pointer to use it unless you have very small fingers!

This display has "professionally" completed my latest Raspi project. A sharp, crisp display well mounted. My only criticism is that the usb sockets are "compromised" by one of the legs. This was overcome using a usb hub attached to one usb socket that was still clear. Otherwise, a good value display.

Absolutely fabulous, the touch is perfect optimal resolution, good value for money, only minor "defect" support prevents proper insertion of USB. I rate 5 stars. ps: I look forward to more to come back in stock (I need another 2)

This screen is almost perfect, the touch is great and i can see a ton of usages for this display. The price is realy good! Only thing i wished it had was a higher resulotion if it got that it would have get 5 stars. i could give it 5 stars becaus of the price, but i will break the trend and give it 4 (.75) just to prove that it is almost perfect. recommend the pimoroni displaycase and pibowcoupee, combined. My rigg got most eyes on it last hack i went to :D

The display is really brilliant and useful. I just like to point out that on my board the anchor pins of USB PWR_OUT port is not well solder on the board. So head up if you are the kind of guy that always yank on a cable instead of unplugging it nicely

This touchscreen works perfectly and that makes learning programing easier. I recommend it is a good use for the internet of things related projects/

I purchased the screen and stand and have been using it since it arrived! I have set it up as a digital interactive photoframe and it looks excellent on the mantle. The screen is sharp and the images look fantastic on it. The text is crisp and easy to read! Setup was easy as pi (sorry not sorry).

If only the legs were maybe 5mm deeper then the could be placed both ways, upright or prone without snagging the Ethernet port. Other than that it's an excellent piece of kit.
