“I was originally trying to use an A2 U3 micro sd card from a well known online retailer which was branded by them, but kept having problems with my Rpi5 and the booting sequence.
After changing it for a pirate supplied sd card the difference is day and night, the boot times have dramatically dropped and there's no more quirks when running simple programs.
If you're having trouble with your Rpi 5 booting or unable to run a simple program I highly recommend that you try one of these cards.”
