“Very nice board, I was interest the most about the memory, 16MB Flash and 8MB PSRAM are awesome. If you intend to use it with the pico-c SDK I'd recommend you to check the sparkfun pico, allocator based on the tlsf allocator. It works well but I had some problems about corruption with the maximum clock speed for 3.3v that is 109MHz but I down clocked a bit and it works fine. Anyway great product, good manufacturing and packaging.”
“As hardware, 5-star. The usual Pimoroni excellent build and features. Software for a Micropython user is a different story. Having put the board to one side for the last 4 months and used the Pico 2W, I tried again. With release 0...12 everything works as expected and to my surprise so does the latest Micropython Pico 2 W build (you miss out on the additional PSRAM). So at some point the software has caught up. 5-star all round now.”
“My favourite Pico Plus 2 W PCB as it has the i2c stemma/qt 5 connector on it for sensors keeping the wiring tidy. It also has excellent MicoPython Support for external devices / sensors with lots of examples.”
“This is a great Pico 2W variant.
It's fast, crammed full of memory and USB C connector.
Unfortunately it does not come with headers already soldered. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible, please.
5 Stars.”
“Nice full featured 2350 + wireless board.
Having USB-C rather than the micro-USB still used by equivalent Pi Picos is a very big plus for me and worth the extra price of the board for that alone.
No issues using it with Thonny - the wireless connectivity worked pretty well for me.
In my limited experience this board is not fully compatible with Pi Pico code so you may need to modify some existing code (like the Pin.IN behavior in my particular instance)”
