“Great product. Absolutely perfect. I was able to replace my Pi Pico simply by swapping the Pico with the Pico Plus 2. Having a drop-in replacement is so useful. Recommended 200%.”
“I've been tinkering with it for a few days and, while I have much yet to explore, I'm really loving the board. So far I haven't pushed it to do much outside of what an RP2040 can do, but I'm particularly interested in enabling the hazard3 cores and seeing if I can get a risc-v forth language up and running.
It runs Micropython and Circuitpython beautifully, but I'm mostly using zeptoforth. I'll be attempting to build a forth-language cyberdeck with this system, and will review other components as I learn to use them.”
“Great board, works out of the box, the material is really nice too - keels sturdy and high-quality. Also, I really like how it comes with multiple ports(espcially the SWD debug port) already solthered.”
“I certainly have no put these chips thru their paces yet, but... I have to say, they are amazing boards.
I had contacted customer service about when I might expect the boards would be supported under CircuitPython... within 24 hours I had an email back telling me that the boards had been submitted to CP and that they were on their way. Within a few days, CP had the UF2 for these boards on their website. Even tho it is a beta, I have had NO issues with these boards and have been able to test out MANY of the nice touches... including the SPICE and the QT/STEMMA ports. AND the board dropped right into custom boards I have had made, as well as Off-The-Shelf boards (e.g. Pimoroni, Waveshare and others). The extra PSRAM and FLASH are a godsend to working with large CP programs.”
“Nice chip, arrived quickly and well-packaged. PCB looks as if it's a lot better quality than the official Pi Pico boards (less sharp edges, better solder pads).”
“Shipped earlier than estimated which was great.
Am looking forward to doing some experimenting with the
Pico 2 board. Can't wait to utlise the extra memory.”
